Jazz Dinner with Mandy Meadows Trio (Accordion, Guitar and Vocal) - Fri 6 Sep

Date: Friday 6 September

Time: 19.30 to 22.30

Price: £22 per person for 2 courses or £25 for 3 courses; all served with a glass of red/white wine and canapés on arrival.

The Mandy Meadows Trio will present a selection of French tunes, Jazz Standards and Latin Tunes at our jazz dinner in September. Combining Guitar, Accordion and Vocals - this is set to be an intimate evening of beautiful songs to move the soul, and toe tapping gypsy style tunes to warm the whisky-laced heart. With Mike Guy on accordion and Pedro Velasco on guitar.

"Meadows belts out the Piaf classics with verve, style, oomph and a mesmerising musicality… an explosion of vibrant emotion-twanging excitement that grabs the audience by the heart-strings and delivers rapturous applause. Meadows delivers the songs with flair and panache and that authentic throaty French uvular trill that was Piaf’s trademark characteristic and she manages to create that mysterious je ne sais quoi that Piaf’s music was, and still is, imbued with. It’s a great show – catch it if you can."
